As a resident of Nepalgunj I would like to say that Nepalgunj is not only famous for its wide range of taste of food or the different cultures it also famous for its different trekking route up to upper valley like Humla, Jumla, Dolpa, Karnali Cisapani, and upto the border of India.
Nepalgunj city is lies at the western part of the Nepal having province no 5 called Lumbini and we simply called it a Banke district.
Although, Nepalgunj is the Hottest place in Nepal but as my birthplace I love this city no matter how many flaws it has. I love this topography. The mixed culture of different Hindus, Muslim, Buddhism, and a Christianity. If we compare in large scale, then we found a unity in diversity and reflect the love and respect for each other culture. That's why I love my city Nepalgunj.

Street food of Nepalgunj
Now the best part of Nepalgunj is street food. The delicious food which tastes very different in mouth. I guaranteed you never tried this before in your life. Samosas, chaat, katti roll, golgappas, and sekuwa, gamanja from our Nepalgunj are regarded as the best street food you had ever taste. Not only this the best part is the Ravadi we called it(made of up pure milk).

The location of Mubarakah Biryani is just left behind the raani talau. You have to work hard to find it cause it lies little inside or we can say that they start at their home. But the Noor Biryani is lies just besides the Nepalgunj sub-metro politician or the side of Nursing home or simply Infront of BP chowk.
For the all street food we have to start to visit from BP chowk to trivhubhan chowk but as Nepalgunj itself a hub for a food you can roaming around it properly cause Nepalgunj hides the different new things in it ,so don't miss it.
Now, let's move towards the caulika chowk of Nepalgunj where the famous Haluwapuri we found. If you came to Nepalgunj and you don't taste the Haluwapuri then your life is not completed, so don't miss the haluwapuri of caulika chowk, Nepalgunj.
Now, let's return to Dhamboji chowk where you found a delicious MO;MO if you are a momo lover named Hamro momo center. You found the best momo here also the best sekuwa.
Nowadays, the different food stall was opening at Nepalgunj city their taste quality is too good. Transportation facilities up to Nepalgunj
There are multiple ways to came into Nepalgunj city it depends upon you if you like to come through Air ways then you take Domestic way from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj which cost you around 8k to 10k if you were came through Kathmandu our Nepalgunj city is connected to every part of Nepal through Air ways.
Also, if you interested to travel through a Bus then we also have a great Bus facility with minimum cost around 2k to 2.5k.
You can also come through riding a bike as well as your car because we have a good condition of road. But while writing this blog there were a several constructions of road is undergoing in our city, but this is for temporary.
Religious Place of Nepalgunj
As a multi-cultural diversity, we have different religious temples. For a Hindu we have a Bageshwari Temple. It is the oldest temple which is dedicated to the goddess Bageshwari (Durga). We had a Kima Danti like a group of yogis resting here on their way to Lord Pashupatinath in Kathmandu dreamt of Sati Devi telling them that it was here that her tongue fell off and that it could be found inside a pit close by. The next day, the yogis discovered the goddess’s tongue exactly as she’d described it, and a temple was later built in her honor.
The main attraction of this temple is lord Shiva having a mustache. Many devotees were visit around the temple in a daily basis. But, during Dashain the crowed become the high rate. Not only this the Teej, Shivaratri, and Maghi Skula Purnima is the time period where the crowed of devotees are in large scale.
Not only this we do have a different Masjid in our city Nepalgunj where Muslims were worship to God. They read a Nawaj every 4 to 5 times in a day as my friend says. And the Friday is their special day where they go to masjid and read nawaj and worship their god.
We also have Gurdwara on the belief of one God Sikh religion recognizes equality to all human beings.
Why i am telling you all this because we had all religion included and living our life happily here. And also if you are coming to our place then set your mind that you found this type of environment here in Nepalgunj.

After coming to Nepalgunj you had an advance option to visit the country India as well because we have an open border to India. You are able to visit the India and see the market of Rupaideya, where you buy some cloths, some grocery, some food and many more to go. Basically, the people of Nepalgunj were 90% depend on Rupaideya market which is not good in somehow, but it is what it is.
