PUBG is where all the other cats in my group call it or say that they would do so. I wrote this here to show you how we use it too! You’ll notice that when you click on Pubg (or similar), you will receive an email (with the link) to a group in Pubg (where you’re also invited to join). Your group starts at the pubg name, so your group name will be “internal” if you have created one.

Pubg knows if the group exists, and you can add people to the group without them even seeing your group name, but they can see and join your pubg group if you invite them (yes you can set this up manually too!). We are currently in Group 8 (north american users) and Group 4 (european users), and I’ll be back to update you on group numbers as soon as we move onto the next groups, and get the ones sorted.
As for the whatsapp group in my group (Hypepotamus pubg) Like the pubg groups, you can add people to the whatsapp group by adding their name to a new group in whatsapp (sub-group within your whatsapp group). This is how we currently set up our whatsapp group:
The group name is going to change based on whatsapp groups, since there is no universal standard on whatsapp groups yet. We’re going to keep our group name simple though. For whatsapp, we have to join our whatsapp group through whatsapp. Its just the phone app itself. For group settings, you will want to visit whatsapp.com/group and then click “create a new group”. There are instructions on whatsapp.com/whatis about whatsapp groups.

Once you have created a whatsapp group, you can add people to it too, but whatsapp groups require a phone number. Whatsapp gives you up to 10 people to add to your group in one go, so you can invite a few people (or a group) of your choice. You can’t add a whole group at a time! Whatsapp groups are different from whatsapp groups (i guess because whatsapp groups are less popular than whatsapp groups).
We use whatsapp groups for a bunch of different things here. We used them to get the support of the other devs and clients into our pubg group. We also have a whatsapp group for the pubg team. We have people added to our whatsapp group through whatsapp groups. We have a whatsapp group with the other devs for serious messages with the pubg team. It’s where we discuss new client features, and where we hang out, and mess around a bit (often debating whatsapp group compatibility issues).
We use it to hang out in a pubg group whenever we want a group where we don’t have to worry about annoying people or spam. There are some other things we use it for (work stuff etc.), but thats it. That’s the group that is heavily used here.

We’ve had all the groups in Pubg set up to be online (and required for chatting in whatsapp) since we moved here, but I haven’t been able to actually use them in public. This is what it would look like if you could go to pubg and chat in the pubg whatsapp group:
As you can see, there are people already in the group, and you can add new people to it with your name as well (but people have to add themselves to your pubg whatsapp group first to be able to chat in your pubg whatsapp group). There’s no group setting in pubg yet that allows anyone to join a group (see next point). This is what a chat in the pubg whatsapp group looks like, just to show you what I’m talking about.
You can also tell your chat that they are already in the pubg whatsapp group. This happens after you have created a whatsapp group for pubg, and have invited a few people into your whatsapp group through whatsapp.
